Atco Volunteer Fire Company #1, with the assistance of the WTFD, make individual home visits to residents who sign up for an appointment. Visits are made in the evening over a 6 day period in December. Santa may visit one street multiple times and other streets not at all depending on his schedule. Appointments available until the schedule is full.

As many of our residents know, Santa visits occur every year in Waterford Township. Members of the Waterford Township Fire Department will make countless personalized visits to children throughout our community over several nights. The tradition started over 55 years ago by the Atco Fire Company. Firefighter Rich Dove, who has been an active member of the Department for 50 plus years, has participated in making Santa visits possible since its inception. Rich is still an active member of the Department and, while he doesn’t run calls, he still makes training and assists with maintaining the station and mentoring our younger members on the tradition and history of the Department. Thank you Rich, your dedication to our Department and our Residents is nothing but amazing.
